Another Friend Is Gone

This was a friend I barely knew,

Perhaps now regretted that I didn't know him.

A best friend to many was he.

A great teacher to many too.

I heard from Harold Boo that Alzer was in coma.

I thought and hoped and prayed he'd regain consciousness.

God knows better His plan for us all.

Now that Alzer has gone back to Him above,

I pray that his soul will rest in peace,

in the arms of God who loves us so.
